About me

I am originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, a small country in South Asia. Now, I live in the United States. I do feel that I am fortunate enough to have the best of both worlds in terms of culture and fashion.

My love for fashion and style happened early on. I would save my pocket money every month and buy fashion magazines and delve into them for hours and hours, as a result I was able to develop a good knowledge on fashion and the fashion industry. This love continued on to college when I started styling friends for their date nights and homecoming. In addition, my graphic design and advertising classes during undergraduate years helped me to understand color concepts, schemes and design elements at an optimal level.

Furthermore, my work experience as a sales/merchandising associate for a department store like Dillards during my undergraduate years have provided me with good foundational knowledge on fabrics and designs of clothes and a hands-on experience on helping customers coordinate their outfits according to their body shapes, lifestyles, and needs.

As a fashion blogger, I will be blogging pretty much about everything that surrounds fashion and style with a sprinkle of my personality. I will try to bring a different perspective on fashion blogging. I will be blogging on current trends, budget shopping, highlighting news articles on mainstream fashion and style, focusing on the global fashion scene (mainly South Asia- where i was born and grew up) and other random musings of life. Therefore with that intention in mind, I hope this blogging experience becomes a fun adventure for myself- where I can share my thoughts on fashion with other fashion lovers and hope it becomes a fashionable cultural forum for my readers, where they become a part of this fashionable cultural experience!
